"take is, take it, take it easy on me..."

So yeah. CexCells is pretty impressive. So far, "Stiff Kittens", "Bitter For Sweet", "Again, Again and Again", "Between Breaths (An XX Perspective)", "The Love Letter" and "Snuff On Digital" are my standouts, with the last track being quite awesome as well. They've done a great job.
Again, this is far from my..er.., well, preferred genre of music, but it's Davey.. and catchy.. and awesome.
Anyway.

It's safe to say that I had a LITTLE too much to drink last night. It all started when I was told that there was a bar tab at this 21st out in the middle of nowhere. I didn't even know the chick (I was a friends 'guest'), so, I took full advantage of this awesome offer, which resulted in a pretty nasty hangover. I have a small gash on my hand which is a direct result of me (in my drunken state) going outside to speak to bunny, and placing my hand on some broken brick, and then leaning down on it. I was totally baffled at the time, but.. yeah. I think that's about all that I can remember from last night. I must check out Dana's photos, and stick them up on here.

So, that was my weekend. Well.. the rest of it will include watching Melbourne lose.. again. Yay for following such a shit club. But anyway. The season is almost over, and i can finally look forward to putting all my hopes into the 2008 season. woo.

I really need sleep... so, I'm off. Actually, scrap that. I'm going to hang with Bunny. He's become more awesome (i didn't know that it was possible) but i get the feeling that he really likes hanging with me. In fact, I'm pretty sure that i caught him smiling at me the other day.. AND RABBITS CAN'T SMILE! :0

Semiotic Love owns my soul

Seriously. This song makes me want to get up and dance. And I DON'T dance. I'm really looking forward to the BA release. Granted, this isn't my style of music, but Davey is one of my favorite vocalists.. and this music really suites his voice. Good times.

That's about it actually. The Demons STILL SUCK SO FUCKING MUCH. God dammit. You'd think that we would have recovered from Norm Smiths sacking in 1965.. but no. Fucking board with their alternative agendas. You've been killing my football club for the past forty or so years you fucking maggots. Szondy just fucked our club over even more a few years ago.

It makes me so angry. We're the oldest sporting club in the world, and we celebrate our 150th year next season... and where are we? second last on the ladder with three wins out of a possible 17. Jesus fucking christ.

I hate caring so much.

der.

So, i was thinking to myself at one point today that it was just A LITTLE colder then it normally is. And I guess that I was right. It reached zero in part of Melbourne today, and one degree in the city. This is the coldest winter that I can remember.
Driving is going to be fun!

Off i go..

FFARRRKKKK

It's so fucking cold in Melbourne at the moment.
It's just not cool.
I love the cold... but this? God dammit. I hope that Bunny is warm enough.
Anyway.

So while checking out the true crime section at Borders today (In the past week, i've bought close to 10 serial killer books (7 on cannibals) and haven't paid more then $15 for a single one. yay) and was informed that the store would be opening at 7am 'tomorrow' (well, it's 3:34am...so.. today) to start it's Harry Potter, er.. madness. It's going to be crazy at Chadstone later on. I think I'm just going to stay at home.
And read.
Speaking of which, I came across this really awesome..er.. well, not really a serial killer, but 'freak' of sorts. I can't remember her name at the moment, but she was some sort of countess from Hungry in the 1600's? Anyway, she was fucking brutal. She'd slay poor virgin girls, and bathe in their blood, thinking that it would keep her younger. There's a lot more involved, so I’ll check out her name tomorrow, and find a book on her.

Sadists from the 1600's are awesome.

um..

Yeah. So, I felt like I needed one of these. I'm a little bit over myspace at the moment, and besides, I needed a new way to show my upmost affection for the most awesome rabbit known to man. He's sitting next to my chair at the moment actually. Just head butting my leg, trying to get some attention. I'll throw a ball across the room or something. That should make him happy. But onto more pressing matters. I wanted to use thedevilandgodareraginginsideme as the url.. but some bastard stole it.

Oh well.

Shit happens I guess. I've been listening to the track 'Luca' off that cd quite a bit. It's quite powerful, and although Brand New are nothing like most of the bands I listen to, there is just something so hauntingly beautiful and depressing about some of their music that just keeps me constantly hooked.Yes. Anyway. Back to "Luca". So, it's a pretty nice track, lead by an acoustic guitar (and like most songs of TDAGARIM) goes schizophrenic at one point.. after one of the most awesome musical moments, with the lyrics (something like..) :

"You never fit well with our group, now with the faults we found,
So we fit you with cement galoshes, but no-one can save you now.
Unless you have friends among fish, you still have no air to breathe,
You could drink up the entier ocean,
we'll still find someone to be everything we'll know that you'll never be"

then you've got the ,

"so touch me or don't (just let me know), where you've been"
bit before it goes nuts. Damn.
I recommend this song to everyone.
I can't get enough Brand New.

Bunny says "hi".
